New Providence, Berkeley Heights Election Guide 2017
Both local and county races are contested this year in New Providence and Berkeley Heights.

NEW PROVIDENCE/BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ — Tuesday is Election Day. We have compiled a list of all of the candidates running on the local and county level and also a list of polling locations.
Locally there is a contested race in Berkeley Heights and New Providence.
Berkeley Heights:

In Berkeley Heights there are five candidates vying for two three-year seats on the township council.
Republican Jeanne Kingsley is the only incumbent running. Newcomers include democrats Susan Poage and Alvaro Medeiros and republicans John C. Sincaglia and Edmund Tom Maciejewski.

New Providence:
In New Providence there are four candidates vying for two three-year seats on the township council.
Republican Robert T. Robinson is the only incumbent running. Newcomers include democrats Jamie Baer Peterson and Keith Doll and republican Nadine Geoffroy.
Union County Sheriff:
There are two candidates vying for one three-year seat as Union County Sheriff. Current sheriff Joseph Cryan is not running for re-election.
Newcoming candidates include democrat Peter Corvelli of Kenilworth and republican Marc A. Krauss of Springfield.
Union County Freeholder:
On the county level, six candidates vying for three three-year term seats for freeholder.
Democratic incumbents include Angel Estrada of Elizabeth and Christopher Hudak of Linden. Newcomer candidates include democrat Angela R. Garretson of Hillside and republicans Patricia Quattrocchi of Clark, P. Mark Martini of Westfield and Peter B. Lijoi of Summit.
Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

District 2, 6, 7: Municipal Center, 360 Elkwood Ave.
District 8, 9, 10, 11: Firehouse, 175 Floral Ave.
- In Berkeley Heights, here are the voting locations and district:
District 1: William Woodruff School, Briarwood Drive West
District 2, 3: Berkeley Heights Municipal Building, 29 Park Ave.
District 4: Columbia Middle School, 345 Plainfield Ave.
District 5: Early Childhood Ctr-Hamilton Terr School, 651 Mountain Ave.
District 6: Berkeley Heights Fire House, 411 Hamilton Ave.
District 7: Volunteer Rescue Squad Building, 378 Snyder Ave.
District 8: Runnells Specialized Hospital Of Uc, 40 Watchung Way
District 9: Governor Livingston High School, 175 Watchung Blvd.
District 10: Mountain Park School, 55 Fairfax Drive
District 11: Early Childhood Ctr-Hamilton Terr School, 651 Mountain Ave.
