New Providence, Berkeley Heights, Mountainside Schools Closed
Breaking: All New Providence, Berkeley Heights and Mountainside schools are closed on Monday due to snow and poor road conditions.
NEW PROVIDENCE/BERKELEY HEIGHTS/MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ — Due to snow, all New Providence, Berkeley Heights and Mountainside schools are closed on Monday.
The schools initially had a delayed opening but changed that to a closed status around 8 a.m. due to very poor road conditions.
"Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience this causes you but the safety of our students and staff are my priority. Please stay warm and safe!" the Berkeley Heights Public Schools district posted.
