New Providence And Berkeley Heights Ranked Among Best Places For Families

New Providence is ranked as #25 on the Niche.com list of the nation’s best suburbs to raise a family.

The community came in as the fifth best suburb in the state to raise a family.

Meanwhile, Berkeley Heights is ranked #29 in the state.

Communities were given grades based on various factors, including crime and safety, education, and access to libraries, grocery stores and day care.

“A high ranking indicates that a suburb attracts young families with good schools and a safe community,’’ according to Niche.com.

The top three communities in New Jersey were Pennington in Mercer County, and Mountain Lakes and Chatham, both in Morris County.
