UPDATE: New Providence Man In Custody After SWAT Team Dispatched To Union County Apartment Complex
The Union County Emergency Response SWAT team had been dispatched to the Villa Apartments on Springfield Avenue.

UPDATE: Policed took Norwood Hill, 39, of New Providence, into custody without incident, according to News 12.
Hill was wanted over the weekend for simple assault and making terrorist threats after he and his common law wife got into an argument - his wife was able to flee.
The Union County Emergency Response SWAT team had been dispatched to the Villa Apartments in Springfield to reach a barricaded “suspect” located in the complex, according to Myfox9.

A neighbor told nj.com that he witnessed about 15 police officers show up to the area before 9 a.m. this morning and that police have been to the apartment complex, located on Springfield Avenue, multiple times this week.
The man has reportedly barricaded himself alone in the building and police have closed down roads leading to the complex.
