The Governor Livingston girls' varsity basketball team is in the middle of one of their greatest seasons ever, and the Lady Highlanders showed plenty of fight and determination this past week in their sensational comeback against rival Johnson.

Trailing by as many as 14 points, GL battled back with an impressive second-half surge to force overtime -- before going on to win 52-50 to earn their 11th win of the season, while getting a bit of payback for their only loss of the season, which came at the hands of the Crusaders on opening night.
