• Newton Police: Fraud Investigation Unravels Gift Card Scheme, Arrest Made (tapinto.net) — Newton police say a 72-year-old town resident lost about $5,000 after a computer pop-up led him into a gift card scam. After tracing the cards to Massachusetts, investigators identified New York resident Lixi Wang, who was later located by Nassau County Police and extradited to New Jersey with help from the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office.
