Sussex County Arts &amp; Heritage Council (SCAHC) is proud to present its 11th Annual XPOSE Juried Photography Exhibition, on view from April 2 through April 30, 2026 during our Gallery Hours. 
Gallery Hours: 
Tuesday-Friday: 10AM-5PM 
Saturday: 10AM-4PM
This show celebrates the outstanding photographers selected for this year’s highly competitive juried exhibition. Awards are going to be presented to artists whose work demonstrates exceptional creativity and technical excellence during our Awards Ceremony on April 18th.

Sussex County Arts &amp; Heritage Council (SCAHC) invites the public to attend the Reception and Awards Ceremony for its 11th Annual XPOSE
Juried Photography Exhibition on April 18, 2026. This reception will be held at SCAHC’s gallery from 2-4 PM. 
This special evening celebrates the outstanding photographers selected for this year’s highly competitive exhibition. Awards will be presented to artists whose work demonstrates exceptional creativity and technical excellence. 
The reception offers guests the opportunity to view the exhibition, meet the participating photographers, and enjoy light refreshments while celebrating the vibrant arts community of Sussex County. 
The 11th Annual XPOSE exhibition will remain on view through April 30, 2026.

SCAHC’s 11th Annual XPOSE Reception and Awards Ceremony 

Boating Safety Course on Saturday 04/25/2026 provided by a US Coast Guard and NJ State Police approved Boating Safety/Certification Course provider. All our instructors are USCG and NJ State Police certified.
US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 15-10 Lake Hopatcong is offering the course and exam to obtain your NJ Boating Safety License (NJ BSC) to operate a Power Boat/PWC (Jet Ski) legally on NJ waterways on Saturday April 25th. The course will be delivered at: 
Hopatcong Senior Center, 32 lakeside Blvd Hopatcong, NJ 07843
Course hours are 8am to 5pm with check in at 7:30 am.
The student fee for $75 paid in advance or $80 if paid on the day of the class.
All course material and the final exam is included.
Upon completion of the course and passing the exam, students will receive their NJ BSC, a lifetime Boating Safety Certificate issued by the NJ State Police Marine Services Division

For centuries, water has defined boundaries, brought people together, and split them apart. We build cities along rivers and lakes, build damns to generate power, and ship materials across oceans and rivers.
In this exhibition, we invite you to explore water in any way that feels meaningful to you: as a subject, a material, a setting, or an idea. Consider its movement and rhythm, nature that lives on or around coastlines and lakes, and how bodies of water like oceans and rivers can wash things away or help new life grow. Water changes what it touches—and is constantly changing itself.

Entry fees are $10 per piece for Members and $15 per piece for non-members with a maximum of 3 pieces. All artists 18 years of age and older are invited to participate.
