• Secaucus Police Blotter, May 25 (patch.com) — Secaucus police reported several recent arrests, including a 29-year-old North Bergen woman taken into custody during a traffic stop and charged with drug and weapons offenses before being sent to Hudson County Jail. Other arrests involved outstanding warrants for drivers from Jersey City, Newark, and out of state, highlighting regional enforcement activity that can still affect North Bergen residents’ daily travel routes. 
• Skanska Creamer Sanzari JV bags $711.7m Hudson Tunnel construction package (zephr.com) — A major $711.7 million construction contract will build new rail infrastructure between Secaucus and North Bergen, linking the future Hudson River tunnel to the Northeast Corridor. Work will add viaducts, retaining walls, bridges, and utilities in the Meadowlands, with construction expected to start in 2026 and eventually improve regional train connections for local commuters.
