• North Jersey Warns Residents: Stay Alert as Coyote Sightings Rise, Keep Pets Safe (wdhafm.com) — Two dogs were recently attacked but not seriously hurt by coyotes on Tamboer Drive in North Haledon, prompting local police to urge extra caution with pets. Residents are advised to leash dogs, keep cats indoors, remove outdoor food sources, and call North Haledon police if a coyote behaves aggressively. Sightings are increasing across nearby towns as well.
