Major road and airport projects coming to South Jersey (ocnjdaily.com) — North Wildwood drivers could eventually see Garden State Parkway Exit 6 converted into a full four-way interchange, improving access between town and the highway. State transportation leaders outlined plans to upgrade four Cape May County exits, widen part of the Atlantic City Expressway, and expand air service at Atlantic City International Airport. Strathmere Considers Proposal To End Free Beach Access (wmmr.com) — North Wildwood is highlighted as one of the last Cape May County shore towns, along with Wildwood and Wildwood Crest, that still offer free beach access. Upper Township officials are now considering adding beach tags in Strathmere to help cover maintenance costs, with an ordinance introduction and public hearing expected later this summer.
