• Tragic Drowning Incident at North Wildwood Beach (watchthetramcarplease.com) — A 21-year-old visitor from Turkey drowned off 2nd Avenue at North Wildwood Beach on Thursday afternoon, despite rescue attempts by surfers, beachgoers, and first responders. Police stress that swimmers should stay in guarded areas, especially since full lifeguard coverage ended after Labor Day. Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to contact North Wildwood police with information.
