Adoptable Oakland Pets Will Be Blessed Soon

The animals are from the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge.

OAKLAND, NJ — Animals from the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge will be blessed at Christ Episcopal Church in Ridgewood next month.

The dogs and cats from the refuge may be adopted.

Residents are invited to bring their pets to the event. Any beloved animal, "great or small," can be brought to the event Oct. 14 at 10 a.m.

A brief service celebrating the animals will be held. Each animal will then be blessed.
