"The Wyckoff Family Y is launching a search for all roles, but specifically Professor Harold Hill and Marian the Librarian, key roles in the hit show, The Music Man. The landmark musical, written by Meredith Willson, will be staged at the Y in early May.
Auditions for actors, singers and dancers have been scheduled for Saturday, January 21 from 1 to 4 PM and for Thursday, January 26 from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. No appointments are necessary; an accompanist will be provided.
Those auditioning are asked to either prepare a number from the show or bring sheet music for their particular song, and bring a photo/resume. They may also be asked to perform some elemental dance steps."
