            As a respected businessperson in the Borough of Oakland, I know that you have a vested interest in ensuring that Oakland prospers as a viable community.  As you are aware Oakland is a growing community and everywhere we turn changes are taking place.  In the next several years during my administration you will see dramatic changes and your input as a business leader is very important.

Annually, we hold a Mayor’s Ball where our friends and supporters get together to celebrate at a gala event locally in Oakland.  This year our gala event will take place on Friday evening, September 7, 2012, at Portobello Banquets.  Please join us to celebrate and to show support for our future plans and events.

A Mayor’s Ball Invitation and R.S.V.P are enclosed for your convenience.  I ask that you consider showing your support for the future of Oakland.  Whether you will be able to join us in celebration or simply want to show your support by sending your good wishes, all contributions will be greatly appreciated.
