FLOW Relay for Life to Host Kickoff Event at Ramapo High School
The event is scheduled to take place Wednesday, Feb. 24 in the high school cafeteria.

The FLOW (Franklin Lakes, Oakland and Wyckoff) Relay for Life committee will host a kickoff event Wednesday, Feb. 24 in the Ramapo High School cafeteria at 7 p.m. to begin the fundraising period leading up to the FLOW-area walk-a-thon in May. Relay For Life is an annual series of walk-a-thons held worldwide to help raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society in their fight against cancer.
Guest speakers at the kickoff will include cancer survivor Brian Moran, Ramapo High School principal and caretaker Dr. Moore and event team captain Isabel Bayer. The event also includes a free buffet with food donated from various restaurants in the FLOW area, including Pizzeria Mandara, H2Ocean and Goldberg’s Bagels. Community members can help raise funds by participating in raffles, games and by purchasing Relay For Life merchandise while DJ Nicky Sibilia provides tunes. Entry to the kickoff event is free and is open to children and adults of all ages.
