Local Animal Shelter Gets a Makeover with Public Reveal from Famous Designer

Oakland, NJ - Save the Caged, a give-back project by “Hotel
Impossible’s” Blanche Garcia and Wigzi Pet Products CEO Nathan Chefetz, has
chosen Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. (RBARI) to benefit from their labors
of love for the animals.  Their mission is to give back in a big way to
help animals in local shelters. The project is picking up speed and has made it
possible to undertake a large-scale renovation in only 5 days time. In addition
to a crew of local contractors and volunteers, over 15 local businesses have
made large donations of time and products totaling over $50,000 so far. If you
would like to help give back too you can visit their page at http://www.crowdrise.com/savethecaged

Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge is a no-kill animal shelter
located in Oakland, NJ. For over thirty-five years, they have been finding
forever homes for approximately 600 dogs and cats a year while helping hundreds
of others find homes through working with other rescues. In addition to finding
the perfect home, the shelter has a trainer on staff who works with staff and
volunteers to rehabilitate animals from many different walks of life, most
recently a dog-fighting ring and several animal hoarding cases.
