• 'Who took them?' Beloved geese reportedly kidnapped from Deal Lake (app.com) — Ocean Township officials are looking into reports that two well‑known white geese, longtime fixtures around Deal Lake, were taken by three people who drove off with them in a brown Subaru. A witness has filed reports with both Asbury Park and Ocean Township police, and neighbors are checking cameras and contacting animal agencies in hopes of bringing the birds home.
