3 In Cape May County Charged With Dealing Narcotics: Prosecutor
The three, all residents of Middle Township, distributed heroin and cocaine throughout the county, the Cape May County Prosecutor said.
CAPE MAY COUNTY, NJ — Three Middle Township residents were charged with distributing narcotics, the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office said.
Joel Quintana-Medina (age 42), Frankie Sola (age 39) and Zulmare Arroyo (age 20) distributed heroin and cocaine throughout Cape May County, Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Chief Christopher Leusner said. All three are residents of the Rio Grande section of Middle Township, Sutherland said.
On June 27, the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, the Cape May County Sheriff’s Office, the Middle Township Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) along with the assistance of the Cape May County Regional SWAT team executed a search warrant on Quintana-Medina's residence in a Rio Grande mobile home park, Sutherland said. Quintana-Medina was the subject of the investigation, Sutherland said.

More than one ounce of cocaine and more than 250 bags of heroin were seized by investigators, Sutherland said. The street value of this is about $4,500, Sutherland said.
Quintana-Medina, Sola and Arroyo were all charged with two counts of third degree possession of CDS (heroin and cocaine), two counts of second degree distribution of CDS (cocaine) and third degree distribution (heroin). Quintana-Medina and Sola were both lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Center and Arroyo was released on a summons pending court, Sutherland said.

Sutherland said that persons convicted of second-degree crimes are subject to a term
of imprisonment of five to 10 years in New Jersey State Prison.
Sutherland added that his office "will continue to work hand in hand with federal partners and the local municipalities to target anyone selling illegal controlled dangerous substances."
