A winning Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $4 million was sold in New Jersey, lottery officials have announced.

A winning Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $4 million was sold in New Jersey, lottery officials have announced.
The ticket, which won the prize during Friday night's drawing, matched the five white balls – 16, 22, 40, 41 and 59. Because the ticket included the optional Megaplier, it is worth four times the standard $1 million prize.
The ticket was sold at a Bayonne Quick Chek, New Jersey Lottery officials announced.

Two other Match 5 winning tickets were sold for Friday’s drawing, one each in Nebraska and Texas. Those tickets are worth $1 million each.
The Mega Million jackpot continues to roll, with an estimated $160 million ($100 million cash) up for grabs on Tuesday, Dec. 5.

Mega Millions tickets cost $2 each. Players pick six numbers; you win the jackpot by matching all six winning numbers in a drawing. The Mega Millions annuity is paid out as one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments.
