9 Rescued From Turbulent Ocean City Waters: Reports
People walking on the jetty fell off the rocks into the water and got carried out by rip currents, according to reports.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — Nine people were recently rescued from turbulent waters at an Ocean City beach after falling off rocks before lifeguards were on duty, according to reports.
Four people fell into the water initially this past Saturday morning, according to NJ Advance Media. They had been walking across the 9th Street jetty when they slipped and fell in. Others entered the water to help them, but they too got stuck in the waves, the report said.
While it happened before lifeguards were on duty, they fortunately were nearby having a morning meeting, according to Action News.
