AC Electric Pauses Late Fees, Disconnections Amid Coronavirus

Atlantic City Electric will waive late payment fees through at least May 1.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Atlantic City Electric has put a hold on new late fees and service disconnections as the novel coronavirus impacts New Jersey.

ACE will waive new late fees through at least May 1 and will work with customers on a case-by-case basis to establish payment arrangements and assistance options. The halt on service disconnections has already been in place through the Winter Termination Program.

Customers who might have challenges paying their bill should contact ACE Customer Care at 800-642-3780.

Through ACE's Gift of Energy program, anyone can make a payment toward a friend or family member’s energy bill. The gift will appear on a future bill as a credit to the recipient's account.
