Officials say beach replenishment and new storm trucks limited damage, while cleanup, bulk dropβoffs at Shelter Road, and regular trash and recycling services are now underway for affected homeowners.

Polling places changed in Ocean City's Second Ward (ocnjdaily.com) β Ocean City Second Ward voters in Districts 1 and 5 will now cast ballots at the Ocean City Civic Center between Fifth and Sixth streets, instead of the 8th Street Recreation Center. All five Second Ward districts will use the Civic Center for the Nov. 3, 2026 general election and beyond, with key registration and mail-in ballot deadlines already set.

Demolition begins at former Seaspray condos in Ocean City (nbcphiladelphia.com) β Demolition of the long-troubled Seaspray condominium complex at Ocean City's 34th Street gateway is finally underway, making room for a new 43βunit upscale project called The Drift at Salt Meadows. Neighbors and city officials say removing the eyesore will improve the main entrance into town, though former residents have mixed feelings after years of safety issues, evacuations, and legal battles.
