Another Ocean City First Day Event Cancelled
A second event scheduled for New Year's Day in Ocean City has been cancelled.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Due to icy conditions on the boardwalk and road surfaces, the First Day 5K Run scheduled for Monday, Jan. 1 in Ocean City has been cancelled, city officials announced on Sunday. The race will not be rescheduled.
Entrants who pre-registered can pick up their race packets with T-shirts at the Ocean City Civic Center (adjacent to the parking lot at Fifth Street and Boardwalk) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
