Atlantic City's 'Casino Crisis:' What do you Think?

Let us know how serious you think the current 'casino crisis' is.

Four Atlantic City casinos have announced they are closing since the beginning of the year.

Trump Plaza announced earlier this week it will close in September, resulting in the loss of over 1,000 jobs.

In January, the Atlantic Club Casino Hotel closed.

Revel says it will close in August if it can't find a buyer, two years after opening to much fanfare.

The Showboat Casino Hotel has also announced plans to close in August.

The closings led Fox News to speculate on the possible negative impact on a potential 2016 presidential bid by Gov. Chris Christie and Donald Trump warned more closings are likely.

But not everyone is taking a doom-and-gloom approach or taking the matter lying down.

Following the initial shock of the announcements, labor unions renewed efforts to find buyers for the casinos.

What are your thoughts on the situation? Do you think it's fair to use the word "crisis?"
