BikeOCNJ Hosts Community Forum Next Week

Ocean City, NJ -- BikeOCNJ presents its annual forum on bicycling in Ocean City on Tuesday night, Aug. 23, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Howard S. Stainton Senior Center.

Participants are encouraged to learn about new bicycle-friendly amenities in Ocean City, and to share opinions on bicycle safety and the usability of Ocean City streets, officials said Monday morning.

The Senior Center is located within the Ocean City Community Center at 18th Street and Simpson Avenue.

BikeOCNJ is a community group dedicated to promoting a more bike-friendly Ocean City. It has successfully advocated for the development of a island-long bicycle corridor, the installation of a user-activated HAWK signal at Ninth Street, and other measure to make bicycling in Ocean City safer.
