Body of White Female Discovered During Search for Missing Cape May County Teenager: Prosecutor
Police have not yet identified the body discovered on Monday afternoon.

A body that was discovered at a home in Middle Township on Monday afternoon was found while police were investigating the disappearance of a 15-year-old girl who was reported missing earlier this month. However, the body discovered on Monday remained unidentified as of Tuesday morning.
The body of a white female was discovered around 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon at a home on Vermont Avenue in the Rio Grande section of Middle Township, Cape May County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor and Middle Township Police Chief Christopher Leusner said Tuesday morning.
The body was discovered by detectives from the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office and the Lower Township Police Department, who were searching for Nicole Angstadt, who was reported missing by her mother on Dec. 1.

She was last seen on Nov. 29, and has been found in the Rio Grande section of Middle Township, as well as Wildwood, in the past.
She is described as 5’8,” 177 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black zip up sweatshirt, leggings and tan Ugg boots.

An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday morning to assist in the identification of the body and the manner in which she died.
Taylor called it an ongoing investigation.
