Body Found In New Jersey River By 2 Fishermen

A body was discovered by a two fishermen in a New Jersey river this weekend, police said.

State Police say two fishermen discovered the body and immediately alerted police just before 11 a.m. Saturday morning.

New Jersey State Police Marine units responded to Mullica River in Burlington County and recovered the body.

Police were going to release the body to the medical examiner's office to determine how the individual died and determine their identity.

Police have not yet specified the gender of the individual.
