Business Entrepreneurs Complete Short Term Program at Ocean City Library

The program was started following the recent casino closings in Atlantic City, according to The Press.

Herb Birch’s idea of providing a short-term program for those with the idea of staring up their own business has become a reality, The Press of Atlantic City reports.

In the wake of recent casino closings and massive layoffs, Birch initiated the program over the course of six weeks at the Ocean City Library, according to the report.

He came up with the idea years ago, but just started the program after the closings of the Revel, Showboat, Atlantic Club and Trump Plaza. About 8,000 workers were laid off.
