Cape Regional Health System Hosts Information Session on Sports Injuries
Parents, coaches & athletes of all ages are invited to "Play It Safe," an informative session on what you need to know about sports injuries
Parents, coaches and athletes of all ages are invited to “Play It Safe,” an informative session hosted by Cape Regional Health System and Lower Cape May Regional High School. The program will be led by three speakers and explain what you need to know about sports injuries, how to prevent them and how to treat them.
Kevin McHale, MD, an Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Surgeon with PENN Orthopaedics at Cape Regional Health System will talk about “Preventing Overuse Injuries in Young Athletes,” an extremely common occurrence for young players in today’s competitive environment. “Play It Safe” will also cover “Getting Back on the Field after an Injury,” and “All About Concussions – Signs & Symptoms.”
