Christmas Movie Being Filmed In Ocean City
"So Fly Christmas" is being filmed in and around the Atlantic City area, and some scenes are being filmed in Ocean City.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City is the quintessential charming Jersey Shore town, especially at Christmastime. And that charm is being immortalized in film, even though it's April - a Christmas movie is apparently being filmed right here.
"So Fly Christmas," which describes itself as a "sweet family Christmas feature film," put out a casting notice saying it would be filming in and around Atlantic City from March 30 through April 18.
A member of the public Facebook group, "Ocean City NJ 08226," noticed that Christmas decorations were being put up on 10th and Asbury on Monday.

The film sought local background actors. The casting company behind the movie, HBG Casting LLC, posted a now-unavailable classified here on Patch with an application for those interested in being part of "So Fly Christmas."
Few details are publicly available about the movie at this time. It is directed by Terri Vaughn, and despite the rumors, it is not a Hallmark movie, a spokesperson for the channel confirmed to Patch. It appears to be a movie for the BET Network.
