Doo Dah Parade Brings Silliness Back To Ocean City April 8

Regis Philbin will serve as grand marshal for the parade.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The 32nd annual Doo Dah Parade is right around the corner.

Regis Philbin will serve as grand marshal for the city’s season-opening celebration of all things humorous, set for Saturday, April 8, beginning at noon.

The parade, sponsored by Dietz and Watson, features marching bands, floats and a brigade of more than 500 basset hounds. The traditional finale at the end of the parade route at the Ocean City Music Pier includes a “Pie-asco,” in which everybody is invited to smoosh their friends with shaving-cream pies.
