Doo Dah Parade, Featuring Flyers Legend, Returns To Ocean City
Philadelphia Flyers great Brian Propp serves as Grand Marshal of Ocean City's 37th annual Doo Dah Parade on Saturday.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — A dry, sunny weekend is in the forecast, making it the perfect time to celebrate spring with the 37th annual Doo Dah Parade returning to Ocean City this Saturday.
On April 13, Ocean City welcomes spring and the end of tax season with the Doo Dah Parade, born in Ocean City in 1986 as an event to celebrate the end of income-tax season. Over the years, it has become a highlight of the spring calendar of events. The procession features marching bands, floats and a brigade of hundreds of basset hounds.
The parade begins at 12 p.m. at Sixth Street and Asbury Avenue, proceeds to 12th and Asbury, turns east to the Boardwalk and concludes on the Boardwalk at Sixth Street. It is the only city parade held in both the downtown and the boardwalk districts. Dietz & Watson returns as the event sponsor.
