Drive-Up Flu Shots Coming To Somers Point

SOMERS POINT, NJ — Flu season is coming up. Shore Physicians Group will operate two flu drive-up flu clinics.

The clinics will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 3 and 24 in the parking lot of the Surgical Division at 649 Shore Rd., Somers Point. Appointments are encouraged, and you can make them at ShorePhysiciansGroup.com or by contacting your primary-care provider.

The clinic is open to anyone 18 or older, regardless of whether you're a current Shore Physicians Group patient. Personnel will administer drive-up flue shots to up to four people in a vehicle who have an appointment.

Patients will roll down their window and roll up their sleeve while wearing a mask. For walk-up appointments, you will be directed to park your car and walk up to the designated tents where you will register and receive your flu shot. Directional signs will be posted.

Shore Physicians Group also has specific flu shots for patients 65 and older. If you are high-risk, discuss getting the flu shot with your primary-care provider.
