Gloria Votta Sworn in as President of Ocean City Board of Realtors

Votta hairs the board's Community Service Committee and serves on the Grievance, Finance and Education committees.

Gloria Votta of RE/MAX at The Shore Realty was sworn in as the 2015 president of the Ocean City Board of Realtors Board of Directors last week.

She was sworn in during the board’s installation luncheon on Monday, Dec. 1 at the Crab Trap Restaurant in Somers Point.

Votta chairs the board’s Community Service Committee and serves on the Grievance, Finance and Education committees.

As the Chair of Community Service Committee, Votta has coordinated these events:

  • Donations for the Ocean City Humane Society;
  • Collection Drive for the Ecumenical Council Clothes Closet Coat Drive;
  • Blanket/Sheet/Comforter Campaign;
  • Collection Drive for the Food Cupboard; and
  • The board’s annual Plant Sale, which Benefits the Waves of Caring.

On the first day of every spring, Votta organizes members of the Community Service Committee for a local caravan to drive to a local plant nursery where they purchase about 125 daffodil plants.

The plants are then delivered to the Wesley Shores Care Facility, where each resident receives a beautiful daffodil plant, as a reminder of the happiness of the first day of spring.

Votta is a New Jersey licensed Broker Associate with CRS, ABR and e-pro designations.

Gloria and her husband Hank are Ocean City residents.
