Great White Shark Appears Off Jersey Shore [VIDEO]

A video caught a great white shark appearing off the Jersey Shore over the past week.

They're back.

A party of shark fishers came across a great white shark, spotting the animal off the Jersey Shore this past week.

The group spotted the animal last Sunday afternoon near an offshore reef about 3 miles off Margate, according to CBS 3, while it was chasing a school of bait fish.

"It was amazing," Jennifer Shreiber, who was on the trip with her husband, some friends and their teenage children, told the station.

The incident came before Deal police ordered swimmers out of the water last week when a six-to-seven foot shark was spotted 100-yards offshore from the Deal Casino.

The Sunday encounter was captured on video, and the Massachusetts Shark Research Program confirmed it was a great white, according to News12.

The fish wasn't exactly Jaws, but it did create some fear. Here is the video, courtesy of CBS3:
