"High-Tax Jack Ciattiarelli" is the only Governor candidate serious about cutting NJ taxes.

In the sick and twisted world of NJ politics, political insider Kim Guagdano gained in the polls by calling her main primary opponent for Governor “High-Tax Jack Ciattarelli”.

I know Ciattarelli as a brilliant and honest CPA. He succeeded in his small business without government contracts or political favors. He cut spending and debt in both his private business and in Somerset County as freeholder director. As an Assemblyman, Ciattarelli proposed detailed, workable plans to cut spending, debt, and taxes in state and local government.

The same Republican insiders are now doing to Jack Ciattarelli what they did to Steve Lonegan eight years ago. In 2009, Lonegan challenged Chris Christie for governor in the primary. Although Lonegan cut spending and avoided debt during his entire political career, they falsely accused him of supporting tax hikes.

Jack Ciattarelli is an MBA/CPA whose business grew without government contracts or political favors. Ciattarelli cut spending on his borough council, as Somerset County freeholder director, as a State Assemblyman--and in his own successful business. His property tax-cutting plan is very real, very workable, and very specific.

How can Guadagno even falsely claim Ciattarelli wants "higher taxes”? Ciattarelli’s tax-cutting plan includes getting rid of special deals and tax breaks for a handful of political power brokers and their insider clients and friends. They include developers of luxury condos in Hoboken and Jersey City and casino-hotels in Atlantic City.

Because Ciattarelli wants these privileged few to pay the same taxes as the rest of us, Kim Guadagno and other insiders are lying about Jack Ciattarelli and spending lots of money to defeat him.

The candidate most likely to really cut taxes is the candidate most feared by these insiders. He is the candidate they lie about the most, and spend the most money to defeat.
