How Hurricane Dorian Could Impact Ocean City
The latest forecast expects gusts up to 40 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Forecasts don't call for Hurricane Dorian to severely impact Ocean City, but here's what you can expect.
The National Weather Service expects the storm to pass through Ocean City on Friday and early Saturday. Expect gusts up to 40 mph on Friday, the NWS says. There's a low probability that the winds will reach tropical-storm speeds, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Mayor Jay Gillian said everyone should still stay prepared. Streets could experience minor flooding around high tide at 2:55 p.m. Friday and 3:21 a.m. Saturday. Be ready to move vehicles from streets that typically experience flooding. There is no flooding advisory for the area as of Thursday morning.
