'Howl-O-Ween' Parade Set In Ocean City
Support the Humane Society of Ocean City with this paws-itively fun Boardwalk event in October.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City is going barking mad by allowing dogs on the Boardwalk in the new Dog Day and Howl-O-Ween Parade in October.
Dogs and their owners get to enjoy a day of fun on the Boardwalk, where dogs are not allowed the rest of the year.
On Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., leashed dogs will be permitted on the Boardwalk, with dog-specific vendors, photo op stations and the Humane Society of Ocean City's announcement of the "Pet of the Year."

Owners can shop for dog treats, order custom engraved dog tags, take photos with Santa and more at this fun event.
Pet parents are encouraged to dress themselves and their pooch in Halloween costumes for the Howl-O-Ween parade starting at 3 p.m. The route heads from Sixth Street to 12th Street on the Boardwalk. Prizes will be awarded for best costume.

The parade's Grand Marshals are Flyers hockey legend and dog lover Bernie Parent, his wife Gini and their dog Sophia.
Registration is now open, and you can also register the day of at the Ocean City Civic Center. All proceeds benefit the Humane City. Visit the Ocean City website to register.
