OCEAN CITY, NJ— After two years of cancellations and modifications, residents in cities and counties across the country are looking forward to many of the traditional Independence Day activities that mark the summer holiday. July 4 is tomorrow, so there’s still time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

July 4 Festivities
What: Ocean City Pops Free Outdoor Concert
Where: Carey Stadium
When: July 3, 7:30 p.m.
Bring a beach chair or blanket, or sit in the bleachers and enjoy patriotic classics and audience favorites.

What: Bike Parade
Where: Longport Bridge parking lot OR 40th and Asbury Avenue
When: July 4, registration begins at 9 a.m. and parade begins at 10 a.m.
What: Skate Bash
Where: 5th Street and Asbury Avenue
When: July 4, 5:30 p.m. through 8:30 p.m.
The free skate bash will feature a DJ, snacks, giveaways and a patriotic costume contest.
What: Fourth of July Celebration
Where: Beach next to Music Pier
When: July 4, 7 p.m.
A kite flying competition is followed by entertainment on the beach. At 9 p.m., there will be a boardwalk fireworks display.
