OCEAN CITY, NJ — The Ocean City Arts Center is springing into April with the return of its "Annual Juried Photography Show," this year with a new twist - a theme.

The show is open as of April 2 and runs through April 30. A "Meet the Artists" reception is set for April 12 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

This year, photographers had follow a theme: "Glass." They were given the challenge to create something specific using glass as a theme, and according to the Arts Center, their previous entries, scenes of the beachscape, animal life, and the environment in all its facets, are beyond compare.

The theme was made to be as broad as possible and glass lends itself to many iterations. Prizes are awarded for Best in Show, second and 3 third Place, two Honorable Mentions and the President's Award. This year's judges are noted area photographers, Jacqui Robinson, David Griffin and Frank Smith. The photographers whose works have been selected for the show have produced a myriad of exciting and beautiful interpretations.
