Longtime Ocean City Jeweler To Close This Year
After 51 years, Henry's announced it will be closing its landmark Ocean City location at the end of the year.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — A landmark Ocean City business will be closing after 51 years, its owners announced.
Henry's Landmark Jeweler will close at the end of the year, according to a Facebook post by the business.
"Oh man, what a bittersweet time!" owners Jeff and Sam wrote.

The location has been a boardwalk staple since its opening in 1972.
"Since 1972, Henry's has been the trusted spot for both locals and OC vacationers alike, and we, along with our families and our fantastic staff, have been so greatly gratified by your support through these 50 incredible years, allowing us to form so many personal, warm relationships with our customers, and to have contributed to the many activities of this totally unique, terrific city," the owners said.

They added that they would be retiring to spend more time with their children and grandchildren and "whatever else our futures may hold."
The store's Cape May location will remain open.
"We've been hearing from so many of you how much you'll miss Henry's," the owners wrote. "From the bottom of our hearts, please know that – sincerely – we will miss you just as much!"
They thanked their customers for all of their support over the years.
"Thank you so much for your trust, your friendship, and your support!" Henry's said. "It's been a blast!"
