Longtime Ocean City Resident to be Honored With Women's Award by Chamber of Commerce
Sandra T. Aromando, owner and president of Euro Line Designe, will receive the 2015 Salute to Working Women Award.

A 30-year resident of Ocean City will be honored for her success by the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The award recognizes women in business for their outstanding professional and personal achievements.

She will be honored at the Chamber of Commerce Luncheon at the Ocean City Yacht Club April 22.
Aromando has been the owner and president of Euro Line Designe for 24 years, after earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Georgia with a major in Interior Design.

Her company provides high end custom cabinetry from New York to Florida.
Euro Line Designe is located in a 100-year-old “Contributing Structure” to the historic district of Somers Point. She is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association and has received numerous design awards.
She is on the St. Peters United Methodist Church Council, a board member of Community Art Projects in Ocean City, a member of the Ocean City Swim Club and a member of the Ocean City Yacht Club. She is also a former member of the Ocean City Ecumenical Council and a former member of the Ocean City Arts Center council.
She has sponsored Joyce Wethaya Thige from Nanyuki, Kenya for over 15 years as an active supporter of Christian Foundation for Children and Aging (CFCA). The two met when Aromando was on a mission trip to Kenya in 1999.
She has made four mission trips to the Dominican Republic with her son, Matthew, to build houses for the needy. Most recently, she went to Costa Rica to help build a sustaining farm.
The luncheon will honor all working women at home or in the workforce. It is open to the public and is $25 per person.
