Manco and Manco's Flagship Pizzeria Moving Locations in Ocean City
After 60 years on 9th street, the original pizzeria is on the move.

Ocean City, NJ -- Manco and Manco Pizza’s flagship restaurant will open in the old Strand movie theater building on the boardwalk this spring, the pizza shop’s owners said via Facebook.
The pizza shop announced last week that it would be moving its 9th Street location to the theater. The shops on 8th and 12th streets will remain where they are.
“Expect more seating, a boutique retail store, and more,” shop owners said in the post. “ Planning, zoning, and construction starts soon.”

Manco and Manco has been an Ocean City staple since 1956, when it opened its first location on 9th Street. By the mid-1980s, three locations had been opened in Ocean City.
The announcement came about a year after owners Charles and Mary Bangle pleaded guilty to tax evasion charges. They are still awaiting sentencing.
