Margate's Sofia Offers Extended Restaurant Week Deal

As has been the case in the past two years, many participants in Atlantic City Restaurant Week are extending the deals they offered for the week-long promotion that technically ended on March 5. (Ocean City's Restaurant Week is on the calendar for late June.)

One of our favorites is Sofia in Margate.

For those of us old enough to remember partying at Merrill's in Margate on the old "Barbary Coast," it's kind of hard to imagine the transformation of the property into an elegant two-story restaurant serving great traditional and Mediterranean fare.

Sofia is worth the price on any day, but during the extended promotion, fixed-price, three-course dinners are $33.11. Call ahead for reservations. The promotion is good through Saturday night.
