The large great white with a great Twitter following pinged off the coast of Atlantic City Wednesday morning.

“Do AC”: a slogan even a shark can love. Mary Lee, the massive female great white shark was spotted off the coast of Cape May over the weekend. She has now made her way to Atlantic City.
As of 6 a.m. Wednesday morning, Mary Lee pinged about 7 miles off the coast of Atlantic City, according to the Ocearch website. Cisco, an immature male shark that accompanied Mary Lee over the weekend, didn’t appear to be with her. His last ping was at 12:18 Tuesday morning, although he didn’t surface long enough to get an accurate location.
He was 8 feet, 7 inches long and weighed 382 pounds when he was tagged off Nantucket, Mass., on Oct. 7. He was named for Cisco Beach on Nantucket and for Cisco Brewery, which created the Shark Tracker Light Lager to support the organization's research. He also doesn’t have the fame or following Mary Lee has collected.
