Monday Manual: Ocean City Christmas In July, Night In Venice

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Welcome to the July 18 edition of Monday Manual, highlighting important and fun events going on this week in Ocean City.

July 18

Gordon Lightfoot will perform at Ocean City Music Pier at 7 p.m.

July 19

Enjoy family fun at Asbury Avenue with Funtastic Tuesdays. Entertainment, face painting and balloon sculptors are available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

It's Mummers Night on the Boardwalk, so get ready to strut 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. from 6th Street to 14th Street.

July 20

The weekly Farmers Market is held at Tabernacle Grounds from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Crafters are in the street at 6th and Asbury Avenue.

Celebrate Christmas in July with this week's Wacky Wednesday. Meet Santa Claus and dress in red and green to participate in a Christmas in summer fashion show. Open to all ages from 10:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Music Pier.

The Ocean City POPS present "That's Amore," with selections made popular by Andrea Boccelli, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and more. Conductor emeritus Bill Scheible returns and Justin Gonzalez sings in memory of Frank Manco. 7:30 p.m. at the Music Pier. The Ocean City Zoning Board meets at 7 p.m. On the agenda are several items of new business.

July 21

Enjoy Market Days on Asbury Avenue with fun from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and then the family can have fun at Family Nights with entertainment on the Boardwalk from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. between 6th Street and 14th Street.

The Ocean City Council meets at 7 p.m. No agenda has been posted as of Sunday evening.

July 22

Motown with a Twist at Music Pier featuring Keo Motsepe and Anna Trebunskaya, with pros from "Dancing with the Stars" performing with finalists from "So You Think You Can Dance," and vocals by "American Idol," "The Voice" and "America's Got Talent" finalists. July 23

Night in Venice returns to Ocean City. The 67th anniversary of this boat parade kicks off at 6 p.m.
