NJ Sober Living Home Operator Accused Of Sexual Assault
Brian Leach, 53, of Cape May Court House, was charged with sexual assault following an investigation into his sober living residences.
CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NJ — A Cape May Court House sober living home operator has been accused of sexual assault, according to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Middle Township Police Chief Tracey Super.
The arrest followed an investigation into allegations of sexual assault related to sober living residences operated by Brian Leach, 34. Court-authorized search warrants were executed on Wednesday, officials said.
The victim was a resident of one of these homes, according to NJ.com, citing the affidavit of probable cause.

Multiple agencies participated in executing the search warrants, targeting multiple sober living residences under Leach's Sobriety House, LLC, as well as Leach’s personal residence located in the 100 East block of Woodland Avenue in Cape May Court House, authorities said.
Leach requested nude photos from the victim, according to the NJ.com report, also offering the victim $200 in cash for oral sex and $500 to $600 to have sex with him.

He and the victim met up for sex at Leach's home a few times, according to the report.
He held supervisory power over the victim and held his connections with the recovery court system over his residents' heads, according to the report.
Following the investigation and the execution of the search warrants, Leach was charged with one count of sexual assault, a second-degree crime. He was processed and subsequently lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Facility, where he awaits a court hearing.
