Ocean City Beach Patrol Updates List Of Guarded Beaches

Check here to see which beaches will no longer be guarded as of Monday, Aug. 20.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — As of Monday, Aug. 20, the Ocean City Beach Patrol will no longer guard the following beaches, according to the Department of Fire and Rescue Services:

  • Seaview Rd;
  • Waverly Blvd. (Surfing Beach);
  • Atlantic Blvd.;
  • 13th Street;
  • 16th Street (Surfing Beach);
  • 17th Street;
  • 20th Street;
  • 48th Street; and
  • 60th Street.

The following beaches will remain guarded. Residents should remember that the beaches of Ocean City are guarded weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends and holidays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.:

  • Seaspray Rd.;
  • Surf Rd.;
  • North Street;
  • Stenton Place;
  • St. Charles Place;
  • Delancy Place;
  • Park Place;
  • Brighton Place (GUARDED UNTIL 7);
  • 5th Street;
  • 7th Street (Surfing Beach);
  • 8th Street (GUARDED UNTIL 7);
  • 9th Street (GUARDED UNTIL 7);
  • 10th Street;
  • 11th Street;
  • 12th Street (GUARDED UNTIL 7);
  • 14th Street;
  • 15th Street;
  • 18th Street;
  • 22nd Street;
  • 24th Street;
  • 26th Street;
  • 28th Street;
  • 3oth Street;
  • 32nd Street;
  • 34th Street (GUARDED UNTIL 7);
  • 36th Street;
  • 39th Street;
  • 42nd Street;
  • 44th Street;
  • 46th Street;
  • 50th Street;
  • 53rd Street;
  • 55th Street; and
  • 58th Street.
