OCEAN CITY, NJ — There's a lot of news to keep up with right now — locally, nationally and worldwide. Here's a recap of coronavirus updates in Ocean City and Cape May County.
Cases
The Cape May County Health Department has reported five active coronavirus cases in Ocean City as of 3 p.m. Thursday. Forty-six people have been cleared off quarantine, and the virus has killed three people in the city.

Officials have reported 123 active cases, 662 people cleared off quarantine and 75 deaths in Cape May County as of 3 p.m. Thursday.
Testing

- Testing locations for COVID-19 now include Cape Regional Urgent Care in Wildwood, Marmora, and Cape May Court House, Cape Regional Hospital, Complete Care Health Network and CVS in Seaville. Proof of insurance is not needed at the Cape Regional Urgent Care locations.
- Shore Medical Center offers tests to determine whether patients have antibodies to the coronavirus. All asymptomatic individuals are eligible for the blood test. MORE.

Recent Updates
Three Manco & Manco employees tested positive for the coronavirus in the past week, according to ownership. The pizzeria shut down boardwalk operations Tuesday so BioBlast Inc. could professionally sanitize each location. MORE.
Ownership said Wednesday that the employees may have worked at any of the three boardwalk locations. All three employees who tested positive were identified because of contact tracing from sources outside the pizzerias.
"We have no reason to believe that any person to believe that person to person transmission has taken place within our restaurants," Wednesday's statement said.
- Sand House Kitchen, a restaurant that recently opened in Ocean City, originally couldn't seat customers at their outdoor patio because of their roof's material. The state adjusted dining rules, which now allows the eatery to serve customers in the open-air deck. MORE.
- The U.S. Small Business Administration and U.S. Treasury released details of the country's massive Paycheck Protection Program that helped 29 local businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic. MORE.
- Elsewhere in the county, the North Wildwood Irish Fall Festival has been canceled because of COVID-19. MORE.

Francis McCormac's radio messages became critical in stopping Nazi efforts. The U.S. Army veteran, who lives in Ocean City, also helped liberate the Dachau concentration camp.
Members of the French Consulate presented McCormac with their highest honor Tuesday — Chevalier (Knight) of France's National Order of the Legion of Honor. MORE.
