Ocean City High School Girls Basketball Team Advances to Playoff Semifinals

The Ocean City High School girls basketball team is two wins away from a South Jersey title.

The top-seeded Red Raiders advanced to the semifinals of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 championship with a 49-34 win over No. 9 Absegami, according to nj.com.

Ocean City will face No. 4 Winslow in the semifinals on Friday, 6 p.m.

Rosalia Daddi led the way with 13 points, followed by Nicole Piergross with 11 points. Ocean City jumped out to a seven-point lead after the first quarter and never looked back.

Ocean City defeated No. 16 Central Regional, 48-36, in the first round.
